I would love to see some healthy recipes! I don’t know of any right off to have you try, but if you have some or if people email you some, we are always looking for new healthy recipes. Thanks Dr. Krupka!

Ok, this is kind of along the lines of your “irresistible offer”.

I am reading the pros and cons of raw agave nectar and how it affects insulin levels. Is it true?

What do you suggest as a natural sweetner other than stevia?

      Is Truvia an option?

      Thanks!

    Patrick:

I would love to see you do a video series on Celiac’s disease/gluten intolerance! You always explain things very well, so it would be very helpful to all of us on the gluten free diet, especially those who are newly diagnosed & just beginning the “journey” to eat gluten free!

    Thanks,

    Debbie R.

Thanks, Debbie. The gluten video series is already underway, but it won’t clear production for another few weeks. Thanks for all of the GF resources you’ve sent to the office, I’m combining them with some others and putting together a resource packet for my GF patients. you’re awsome!

I’ve heard that the non-stick/coated pans contain polytetrafluoroethylene which has been known to cause cancer and the use of alluminum pans has been linked to Alzheimer’s. Is it all a bunch of hype drummed up by the competing “pan makers” or, do these actually introduce harmful chemicals ? what type of cookware do you suggest/prefer ?

Dr. Krupka, Tell us about your juicer. Until your video with your son, I did not know about air in the juice. We are shopping for a juicer and I would appreciate your comments on what to look for, and maybe brand recommendations. Thanks for all the information that you share with us.

Dr. K – I am confused will all the protein/energy bars. There are so many on the market some meal replacements, snacks, energy, etc. I would like to find a high protein bar without all the calories and added “junk” put in. It’s nice to eat them on my way home after work so I’m not eating the kitchen sink when I get there. Any suggestions?

Well Dr. Krupka here is a question for you.

When I received my Hou Chron this week there was a sample of Wheaties FUEL cereal, “The Breakfast of Champions” As I read through the ingredients was I ever surprised to find my cleaning product Trisodium Phosphate among the other questionable ingredients. What is it doing in my food! This is touted as appropriate food for children. I don’t think it will make them a champion, do you?

Thanks for doing this blog. what a great idea.

    Marjorie

Dr. Krupka, what do you think about the wellness/preventive body scans that Memorial Hermann is promoting? http://www.memorialhermann.org/content.aspx?id=1686

    Dr. Krupka,

I havne’t had a chance to tell you about how my birth experience went yet but I saw this and thought I could suggest Hypnobabies as a legitimate and effective natural birthing process/technique. You can’t try this one out so I thought I would give my feedback for it if any of your pregnant patients are interested in all natural childbirth. It was awesome and I am looking forward to doing it again in a couple of years.

My Husband and I use a protien powder called Jay Robb. We use his whey protien. Reading the label it seems to be the best flavored whey protien we’ve found in stores and it tastes the best. It actually tastes really good. It kind of seems too good to be true so I was wondering if you could check it out and let us know if it really is a good whey protien product. His website is http://www.JayRobb.com.

I think the traditional, grain free, Weston A. Price, Nourishing Traditions type paid online meal planner with grocery lists and how-to’s for preparations the night before..etc., I mentioned in the office today, would fit under your request here.

I am still working with the three day sample plan and think this would be a great addition to the gluten free kitchen “library”. Making gluten free is more than just switching to non-gluten flours..on this plan, seems that you will eat more veggies, fruits and meats as well as seeds and nuts which just happens to be gluten free.

After pasting the link, click the Grain Free Meal Plan button for details.

Please post your opinions Dr. Krupka!

    Thank you!

    Dr. Krupka,

What do you think of Young Living’s Supplements, especially the Core Supplement line?

Also…What do you think of Young Living’s new Progessence Plus Serum ?

    Any insights would be appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Elaine

    Dr. Krupka,

Could you tell me what you think about Shane Ellisons (The Peoples Chemist)? It’s all scientifically based information. I want to start some of his products and some of the over the counter products he recommends in his book. He really does make a lot of sense and I hope you will look at his book too. thanks,
    Susan

    Hi Dr. Krupka,
I was wondering what your thoughts are on the gluten testing done at Cyrelabs.com. I was wondering if those are more accurate? Any experience with them. I was curious about array 3 and 4 on their panel. I really would like to do a test that is accurate and not do all the eliminating and re-introducing stuff if possible.
    Thanks
